CPTec presents a symbol library for technical writing

The library is free and contains warning signs (danger signs), prohibiting signs, mandatory action signs and further pictograms in the GIF and the EPS file format. The symbols can be downloaded individually or as a ZIP file containing all symbols.

 
In many cases, the symbol library also contains references to national and international standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI, SEMI) and regulations.

Symbols in the EPS file format can be modified easily (e.g. for matching the color to a specific standard). In addition, these symbols can be scaled to any size without any deterioration of the image quality.

Since its introduction in December 2003, this library has become a helpful reference for service providers and for companies in the field of mechanical engineering. By now, the site has been visited more than 100,000 times and the library has been downloaded several 1000 times.
